This week on twitter, I was able to follow a couple more researchers that would help me with my research. After researching I followed @NewsFromWSC, @WYUntrapped, and @RedWolfCoalition. All three of these organizations provide me with posts that educate me on wolf conservation methods. This will be very useful for my advocacy project later on in the course. The three hashtags I used in the search bar were #wolves, #wolfscience, and #wolfhierarchy. My method was to start more general with just the hashtag wolves. I then proceeded to get more specific to narrow my results down to social hierarchy in wolf packs which is what my research is based on. I noticed that researchers like to state the animal name and then the topic they are researching on about the animal. #wolfhierarchy was the most productive as it gave me the best results for my research topic.

From my three twitter posts regarding my scicomm article, this post was my best and most engaging post. This is because it immediately starts with a question that would interest most people as most people think there exists an alpha male in a wolf pack. I then show how the article disproves this and shows the true structure of a wolf pack. Overall, it is a solid tweet that can be engaging to my audience. Finally, I responded to Rogelio Campo's blog post on his week 3 twitter reflection. On this reflection, he talked about how useful the ChatGPT exercise was for research and an interesting fact about canines. I enjoyed his post as it related to my animal and research. Overall, I was able to follow some more useful researchers and post interesting articles on twitter this week that help with my scicomm article.
I really liked your tweet! I'm not researching wolves, but I am studying dogs and I think they can be pretty similar. I saw some of your other tweets on twitter and thought they were really engaging.
