Summary
This week on twitter taught me more about my animal, wolves, as well as what animals my peers are interested in. I first responded to Natalie's blog from week 4 as she mentioned some helpful accounts that I started following such as WAGLabLiv. This account introduced me to interesting facts about canines and their behavioral traits. I responded to the blog by mentioning how I also found the account to be useful and related with her with my research. On my own, I started to follow @NevadaWolfPack and @WolvesOfRockies to learn about wolves in different types of environments and states. I enjoyed @shawnllee's post about coyote and wolf hybrids because it was an interesting concept that I did not previously think about. Moving on, the ChatGPT exercise educated me on interesting stories about wolves. I used Professor Haas's templates to ask the questions and it resulted in many different stories. In the end, I narrowed it down to two stories: one about a man living with a wolf pack and another about how the reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone stabilized the ecosystem.

These two stories taught me a lot about how much impact wolves have towards nature. I then created two threads to share my experience with my classmates and I look forward to reading stories about their animals! Through this exercise, I learned how useful ChatGPT can be for research ideas and stories. It gave me a good insight on how I can make the audience interested in my scicomm article topic. Overall, this week taught me more about wolves and sets the foundation for my upcoming article that I am excited to write!
